When Hawthorn School transformed into the new all-through “super school,” we were tasked with creating a brand that honours the past while embracing the future.
The result? A bold, bright identity rooted in heritage. The hawthorn branch and flower pay tribute to the school’s legacy, while a modern hexagon and dynamic stripes symbolise unity, progress, and growth.
This balance of tradition and innovation gives Ysgol Afon Wen a brand that feels fresh and exciting for students, while still resonating with the community’s history

As another new all-through “super school” in Pontypridd, Ysgol Bro Taf needed a brand that balances modernity with local pride.
The identity centres on three colourful dots, representing Infants, Secondary and Sixth Form – giving each stage its own space while uniting them under one brand. A flowing line connects these dots, symbolising both the River Taf and the journey of growth through education.
The result is a clean, future-focused brand rooted in community, developed in collaboration with students and staff to ensure it feels authentic and inclusive.

As a new Welsh-medium primary in Pontypridd, Awel Taf needed a brand that feels both playful and culturally rooted.
Inspired by the school’s name (“the Taf Breeze”) and drawings submitted by pupils, the identity centres on a kite – symbolising childhood, growth, and aspiration. The fresh, nature-inspired palette and joyful design capture the spirit of community, culture, and creativity from the very start of a child’s journey.

MACS came to us with only a logo and a blank website. They needed more than a refresh – they needed a clear identity and a site that truly worked for their community.
We developed a full brand pack with mini guidelines covering colours, fonts, and image style, giving the school consistency across print and digital.
